All Aboard! We’ve been working overtime the past week, coming up with some fun new designs for 2008, with Valentine’s Day at the top of our list right now. We are anxiously awaiting a fully stocked order featuring some fab new Valentine’s papers from our favorite companies, so you’re sure to see a pink/red/green/white extravaganza around here soon. We are also prepping for another (hopefully successful) craft fair coming up in several weeks, so plenty of buzz in the studio once again. This past weekend was particularly productive for us, as you’ll notice in our Doullina Shop so head on over and take a peek at all of the new goodies we’ve created. Everything from mini composition books, mini albums, rolodex, cards, embellishment kits…plenty of new stuff to ogle!
Here’s an advanced screening of one of our new pride & joys- our Love Notes Altered Tin with Album. On its own, the altered tin would make a fantastic gift, with a spot for a 4×6 photo on the cover, and plenty of room inside to tuck some V-day sweets, gift certificates or photos. We took it a step further and added a 9 page journaling album for your special memories, quotes, love notes, etc. This one was fun, fun, fun to create and we know that it will become a treasured memory for you and your recipient this Valentine’s Day!

Wishing you all a Happy and Creative Holiday Season! We both feel so blessed to be surrounded by our wonderful families and friends during this very special time of year. We’ve definitely made tons of scrapbook worthy memories this year, and we are so very thankful for the success of our new venture! What fun it’s been to help so many others create special pieces to showcase their own treasured memories…it’s truly been a pleasure! We are looking forward to a little bit of downtime with our families this coming week, and rest assured, we will be back in full force in several days with some new designs, an ad in the Times Union starting 12/26 (yes, we will be scrapbooking it!), and some more exciting information about our Winter Wonderland Crop and our 4 week Scrapbooking Workshop at Blue Dog Arts for Middle-High Schoolers! That business about us possibly resting in January….phooey, we have to many ideas and this Doullina Show is ready to be syndicated!! Introducing a new twist on our Altered Day Planners!

Did that make sense? Every once in awhile, usually b/t the hours of 1-4 am when a deadline is nearing and we need a bit of a break from the paper products, we turn to our trusty computers and google our name. A recent “Doullina” search had us pretty excited as we found our name and products on several sites out in the great big blogosphere! What a compliment it is to be featured on someone else’s site…we certainly enjoying blogging about ourselves and our fun products, but for someone else to pick up the tab…that’s just awesome!
