Greetings from the vacationing half of the Doullina team! Wow! What a busy month it’s been since we launched our little store! We are enjoying the continued support of our friends, family and new customers who have all shown such excitement for our creative ventures here at doullina.com. The influx of new ideas and feedback definitely fuels our creative fires, and we hope that you will continue letting us know what sorts of things you’d like to see featured on our site. As August winds down and we start to gear up for a busy Craft Show and Holiday season, we decided to host a fun 10% off sale in our shops! Head on over to our Store and scoop up some bargains, and be sure to tell all of your friends!

These are for the birds! The hippy clippie chicks are at it again! This time, we’re rolling out a line of mini clipboards that are all decked out in gorgeous designer duds, ribbon and Prima flowers! We’ve decoupaged them with a matte sealant to add to the life of these fun projects. Perfect for notepads,hanging a favorite photo, or for use in the kitchen as a grocery list holder. So many uses! These pretty girls measure 6×8.5″ and they’re outfitted in some very fancy patterned Bohemia paper, and topped off with some fun paper primas, bling and ribbon. Catch them here before they fly off into someone else’s cart!

We had a fantastic time in Stormville this weekend, at their 1 day Antique Fair/Flea Market (yes, at this point, you may see us in some interesting locales) We got a lot of positive feedback from shoppers who were very excited to see our custom projects, and we must have passed out over a hundred business cards! Beautiful weather, great conversations, and hopefully some great new customers and friends who will join us as we create more fun stuff for our shop.

Then you have to check out our latest concoctions….Embellishment Buckets! We found these amazingly adorable quart sized plastic paintcans that were just begging for some altering! They are positively chock full of amazing ribbons (each bucket contains 5 different patterns for a total of 20 feet!), a pouch of coordinating buttons, and a pouch of either handmade paper goodies (tags and flowers) or a collection of decorative paper items from some of our favorite lines (tags, sayings, flowers,etc.). These kits will make a wonderful addition to your scrapbooking stash, and when you’ve exhausted your supply… come visit us for a refill!

1/2 of our esteemed design team recently partook in some serious scrapbooking at the Harvard of Scrapbooking Institutes- Creating Keepsakes Convention. Everything from the fabulous Friday Night Crop that was chock full of entertainment, to the fully stocked Vendor Faire (yes, she returned with PLENTY of goodies to incorporate into our designs!), to the bags and bags of giveaways…definitely made for a fun scrapping vacation! Definitely keep an eye out for some new designs featuring some of the latest and greatest supplies and techniques in the very near future.
